Junior Legal Administrator
The main role of the Junior Legal Assistant is to support the New Build Conveyancing Team with various admin elements of the conveyancing transaction.
Duties:
Duties will include but will not be limited to:
- You will deal effectively with clients and third parties in written correspondence
- You will be responsible for chasing various urgent documentation, ID, mortgage offers and searches
- You will keep the case management system up to date in real time
- Any other administrative duties required to assist your team and other teams should the need arise including but not limited to:
- Exchange letters and deposit accounts slips
- Certificates of Title to the lender
- Sending documents to client for signature
- Sending signed documents to solicitors
- Checking client care letters and dealing with gifted deposit/Help to Buy ISA queries
Essential Skills:
- Experience in an admin or customer service environment preferred
- Strong administrative skills gained in an office environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good telephone manner
- Conversant in Microsoft office
- Highly organised
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Experience of using a case management system (we use Proclaim) is desirable
- Willing to build relationships with referrers of work through excellent communication
