Residential Conveyancer/Solicitor/Legal Executive

We are seeking a Conveyancer who has experience working within a busy conveyancing team. The role would look to build on the quality of service being offered to our clients and in turn be rewarded for their dedication.

Job Description

• To oversee the successful running of your Conveyancing team in order to provide a quality conveyancing service to the firm's clients.
• Check freehold, leasehold, shared ownership and unregistered titles.
• Ability to recognise complex issues.
• To work towards the targets set by the Firm in relation to monthly billing
• To build upon and maintain good relationships with agents and other introducers
• Acting on instruction of and reporting to Partners
• Act in accordance with anti-money laundering regulations and quality procedures in accordance with the Office Manual
• Ensure a high standard of file management and awareness of essential procedures
• To maintain and where possible, improve all office standards

Qualifications required for the position

• Ideally be a qualified Solicitor or working towards qualification as a Licensed Conveyancer/Legal Executive.
• At least 1 years’ experience working within a busy conveyancing team
• Be able to deal with all freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, sale, purchase, re-mortgage and transfer of equity transactions from initial instruction through to completion
• Good standard of literacy, numeracy and attention to detail
• Pleasant manner, flexible and co-operative
• Good time management skills
• Excellent client care
• Flexibility in support of other members of staff

• Salary commensurate with experience £30,000 - £38,000 per annum
