The Job
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant to join our Commercial Conveyancing Team in our growing business, based in Huddersfield.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Head of Commercial Property
- Working for 3 fee earners
- Dealing with incoming post, scanning and saving to case and advising relevant fee earner.
- File opening and closing
- Preparation of documents as required
- Digital dictation (BigHand)
- Arrange appointments, meetings etc. and diarising for fee earner
- Updating the new enquiries database
- Arranging for all copying to be done, in person if a member of the document production team is not available
- Assist and support other secretaries as required
- Attending clients in person and by telephone, providing such support in a professional and friendly manner, in keeping with the company’s standards
- Undertaking any specific training when require to do so and having overall responsibility towards self-development
- Ensure the confidentiality of the company’s and clients’ documentation and information
- Undertake any reasonable task as requested
The Person
- Experience of working for a commercial property solicitor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working to tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Methodical and able to prioritise own workload
- Ability to be discrete and maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Strong IT including good typing skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Flexible with a can-do attitude
- Experience of working with SolCase (case management system) would be an advantage
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Team player
