The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit two talented Paralegal Apprentices to join our Residential Development team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to gain some hands-on legal experience alongside a team of highly regarded professionals, and to work with some large commercial clients.

The successful candidates will study towards the Level 3 Paralegal Apprenticeship standard with BPP University. Applicants must not have a qualification in a similar subject at the same level or above.

We will provide full training and support for these positions, including allocating dedicated supervisors and buddies to you.

The role will develop with training and experience, but we expect Paralegal Apprentices to be involved with assisting fee earners in some of the below aspects:

  • Managing data and records;
  • Reviewing and preparing documents;
  • Collating completion papers;
  • Drafting forms and legal documentation;
  • Communicating orally and in writing with a variety of recipients; and
  • Providing support to Plot Conveyancers and fee earners

Key Skills & Experience

Applicants will need to have at least five GCSE's graded A* - C/9 - 4 or equivalent and have achieved at least three A-Levels at graded A* - C or equivalent. You will be required to take the Land Law module during the first year of their apprenticeship.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Good IT skills
  • Typing skills
  • Discretion and professionalism
